Days in TEDA

Never ever did I live in TEDA for this long. This is a whole new place where I am a stranger. Streets and avenues are straight and broad. People here speak different dialects some of which I can’t recognize or understand. A number of taxi drivers are frauds. There’s a lot to experience, though it’s a place not far from the downtown.
Humid weather continues right in here. Fortunately my bro’s room is air conditioned so that I’m not suffering. He’s from Chongqing, a mild guy working 8 hours a day for Standard Chartered. We’re gonna share the room for ten plus days and it’s nice of him to treat me so right.
Now it’s raining, another thunderstorm striking the city after a rare and sensational solar eclipse in the morning. I didn’t go into it since I gotta work at that time. But my colleagues seemed so interested that they even took pictures with their SLRs. It was also wise for some of them to watch CCTV cover the event over the Internet. I should say the solar eclipse was not beautiful but it was only rare to see that.
Plus I got 10 plus mosquito bites while taking a nap in the afternoon. So freak!!!
