Happy Children’s Day!
It’s been a while since I got down to setting up my own blog server. Yum, you are right. This is my OWN blog server, exclusively for JASON ARIKID.
Actually I’m quite far from the age when I used to be a computer nut. But now, as you see, I’ve made it, albeit not a very decent job. That’s why I think I’m… just somewhat talented in this way.
Out of the blue comes the Children’s Day. Yet I can’t recall the last time when I spent my Children’s Day religiously. 15 years ago? … Maybe… You know, it was so sacred a day that we would look forward to it a couple of weeks ahead. Unlike children nowadays, we regarded Children’s Day as a day of great importance. Kids need respect; kids need a rest. When June 1st came, I couldn’t wait to tell anyone that it made my day, as if I’d been standing in the spotlight.
Of course, toys and snacks could possibly fill up the day.
Today, I can’t give kids toys or snacks though I really want to. But I got a nice song for all the lovely kids: Fireflies by Annie Yi. It’s an old song, dating from 1992. I guess few kids have ever heard of this song. At the end of this post, I will play the song for you. (By the way, I’m quite happy that I can upload my favorite stuff at will. For sure, the desirable feature does cost something.)
It’s already late night and I gotta make it short. Today my own blog is on, and wants visiting as often as you can. I wrote plenty of posts for many previous blogs and once wanted to collect them together, whereas I haven’t yet decided whether to do that here. On my Facebook, you may read some of them. The sidebar on the right will also lead you to other sites where I frequently appear, say Menllo, Douban, MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter.
All right! Time for music! And kiss you all good night!
